The Nature of Free Trails
Every route, map, and whisper of wind on this site is offered without charge, like a public footpath through national forest. No fees enter, no refunds leave. Our words are gifts to the curious traveler, not products wrapped in receipts.
When Digital Gifts Arrive Broken
Should a page fail to load, an image vanish into fog, or a download link point to thin air, we consider that a storm on the ridge. Reach out within seven days of the glitch, and we restore access or send the file by email, no questions beyond the weather report.
Donations and Open Hands
If you choose to leave a voluntary contribution through our quiet donation portal, it flows straight to trail maintenance funds or local gatekeepers. Once the transfer clears, the gift is complete, much like leaving a coin in a summit box. We do not reverse such offerings; they belong to the path now.
External Bookings Through Partners
Occasional links lead to ferry schedules, hut reservations, or kayak rentals managed by mountain folk we trust. Those transactions occur on separate ledges, governed by the partner’s own policies. We provide the bridge but do not hold the toll.
Errors in the Mist
If we mistakenly charge a card, send double confirmation, or deduct for something never intended, contact us immediately. We return the full amount within three business days, no debate, only apology and a corrected map.
Reaching the Refuge
Signal any concern to [email protected], call +1 307-266-7348, or post a letter to 601 SE Wyoming Blvd, Casper, WY 82609, US. We reply faster than snow melts in a geothermal stream, usually the same day.
Policy Under Starlight
This policy stands unless the earth shifts beneath it. Any change appears here with a fresh date, and we notify recent donors by email if the trail widens.
Effective Date: November 14, 2025
